It can be difficult to find a chic hotel where kids are welcome, but at the SunGardens it's a different story. At this stylish property, pint-sized guests are the priority. Looks-wise, it's light, airy and modern with elegant written all over it. Take the lobby, for example. When you want to relax together, the swimming pools are the place to be. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, they sit side by side, looking out over the beach. And one is an infinity pool, so you feel like you're swimming out in the sea. They're framed by large sun terraces too, accessorised with sun loungers, parasols and palm trees.

Or follow the little path from here which snakes right on to the beach. Its pale golden sands are perfect for sandcastles and the clear seas shallow enough for children. The SunGarden's got another big trump card on the location-front, too. It's just a minute's stroll to the shops, bars and restaurants. And you can easily tick off Ayia Napa's attractions – the resort's a leisurely 15-minute walk away.

The hotel is clean and modern, the staff are on hand to cater to your needs and very helpful, friendly and so welcoming. The only down side to this hotel is the food, very repetetive not much choice not good if your fussy, also the lack of entertainment... more on this review
