Casa Santa Maria

We are happy to welcome Casa Santa Maria to the Simply Corsica programme. Ideal for families or groups of friends this villa has every comfort you could wish for on holiday. The young family who own the property live there during the winter months so it is well equipped and tastefully furnished. The villa is located just a short drive away from the traditional sleepy village of Figari where you will find all your day to day needs and well situated for many of the fantastic beaches in the area.

Inside the property has an open plan living dining area with patio doors onto the terrace which encircles the ground floor. A few steps through an archway takes you to the traditionally styled kitchen with built in stone oven. If you prefer to use modern appliances there is everything you need to cook a gourmet meal and the perfect setting for an evening meal is out on the terrace.

Downstairs there are three bedrooms, one double with ensuite and access onto the terrace and two twin rooms. One twin is suitable for children, with one of the beds being partially enclosed and perfect for a smaller child. There is a separate bathroom and wc on the ground floor. Stone steps lead up to the master bedroom with its own spacious shower room beautifully decorated in rustic theme.

A small shaded terrace overlooking the pool and gardens is the perfect place to escape the kids and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The interiors are decorated in pastel shades and typical Corsican wax floral prints adorn the walls of the villa. The highlight of the property however is the exterior.

The fabulous fish shaped pool has a large tiled terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. To the side of the villa is a spacious lawn where the children can play or you can take advantage of the shade of one of the many olive trees scattered around the grounds. An absolutely delightful villa offering all creature comforts and easy accessibility to nearby places of interest and beaches.
