The tables are on a terrace right next to the sea which is subtly lit so the magnificent sunsets over the peaks of the Alta Rocca can be appreciated. Even after the sun has set the view is worth staying for as the lights of Porto Vecchio citadel can be seen twinkling across the bay. The main restaurant stays open throughout the day so you may eat at the hour which best suits you and will cater for room service so you may even dine on your own private terrace.

For those who may wish to leave the idyllic setting of the Belvedere there is plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Famous Palombaggia beach is only a ten minute drive away, with its pristine white sand and clear turquoise waters; alternatively a foray up into the Bavella massif proves a worthy day out if only to stop on the road winding up at Ospedale to view Porto Vecchio and its glorious bays from on high.
