An introduction to U San Daniellu 1
A beautiful location close to a sandy beach and enjoying glorious sea views and spectacular sunsets is just one of U San Daniellu's star qualities, the others being a splendid swimming pool, a remarkably high level of comfort and a friendly welcome.
The charming young owners, Dominique and Maguy Fratacci, are committed to high and lasting standards. The splendid pool has a wonderful view to the sea below. The pool is fenced on three and a half sides, a safety aspect greatly appreciated by parents.
Each of the two houses, which are linked by an arch, has an airy and spacious sitting-dining room, with a sofa bed, which opens on to a private covered terrace which leads onto a lawn and then the pool.
The open plan kitchens are extremely well fitted and equipped; keen cooks can be creative and lazy ones can prepare meals with the minimum of fuss, especially if they use the outdoor barbecue.
For the air-conditioned bedrooms, a double and a twin in each house, Dominique and Maguy took to heart our advice on the provision of good reading lights, bedside tables, mirrors, and fitted wardrobes. A shower room with WC on the first floor and a separate WC on the ground floor complete the extremely comfortable accommodation.
The Frataccis are very welcoming but also discreet, happy to chat about the region to those who wish to explore its many hidden corners, or to leave those who wish for total peace and relaxation to enjoy just that. Sandy Farinole Beach, which has a pizzeria-restaurant, is under a kilometre away as is picturesque Farinole village.
Patrimonio takes only five minutes or so to drive to, and St Florent, for major shopping and restaurant sorties, ten minutes while spectacular Nonza is ten kilometres up the craggily indented coast of the Cap.
