Green Villa

If you are a lover of the great outdoors and all its pursuits, the Green Villa could be just for you. Bird watchers and walkers alike will love the area that this property is set in. The Apokoronas lies between the foothills of the White Mountains and Souda Bay, visitors to the area say spring here is paradise as the flowers turn the landscape into a rainbow coloured sea.

The villa is in the village of Pemonia, which is between Rethymnon and Chania, so the shops and sights of both can be enjoyed easily with a car. Only 20 minutes down the road is Vrisses, well known for its yoghurt and cheese production. The villa itself is light and airy and the decor has influences from all over the Greek islands, particularly Santorini and Mykonos - there is a traditional stone fireplace in the lounge, while being quite unique compared to other villas in the area. Head upstairs and all the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and are uncluttered, cool and comfortable.
