Villa Dafni

'Rustic chic'. That's the best way to describe Villa Dafni. Built in traditional Greek 'sugar-cube' style, it has an olde worlde feel about it. Contemporary design twists in the way of trendy sun-loungers and linen parasols. And extravagant touches such as a whirlpool bath and fitness room. But there's more to this villa than just looks - it's in a wonderful away-from-it-all location, tucked in the hills near Listaros in southern Crete. And its elevated setting offers up some pretty impressive views of the mountains and sea – sunset in particular is worth writing home about. Villa Dafni's only neighbours are its sister properties, Villa Elaia and Villa Myrsini, so if you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is just the ticket. When it comes to getting out and about, you're only a couple of minutes' drive from the tavernas of Listaros village, while the nearest beach is 10 minutes by car. If you want to dip into the big city, Heraklion's 65km away. On the subject of facts and figures, the villa can take up to six people – there are three bedrooms in total, two doubles and one twin, plus two separate bathrooms – making it ideal for groups of friends or large families.
