Villa Aris

In an elevated position above nearby Hetty's Houses, the Villa Aris affords spectacular views. In the foreground, an old disused wine factory and in the background sweeping views of Pylos Town and the historic island of Sfakteria. With around 20 steps up to the Villa Aris, guests with mobility problems may find that this villa is unsuitable for them. This bright and airy white-washed villa has an open-plan living room and dining room and well equipped kitchen. The living room opens out onto a covered terrace with table and chairs and sunbeds for those afternoon naps.

The local area is full of interesting places to visit including Nestor's Palace and the ancient sites of Messini and Olympia, all of which are under two hours drive away, perfect if you enjoy exploring the local areas. Some of the best sandy beaches in Greece are just a short drive away and are mostly deserted - even in high season, a rarity anywhere these days. The beaches are undeveloped so you won't find sunbeds, umbrellas or watersports but you will find golden sands and cooling waters as far as the eye can see. If you do fancy getting out on the water there is a small windsurfing school 30 mins away in the small resort of Finikouda.
