In Parga there are many lovely walks which will meander you through silvery olive groves, be sure to pick up a walking book when you arrive and don't forget your walking boots. If long walks on hot days seems like too much effort head to the Venetian castle for some exploration or the castle in the nearby hamlet of Anthoussa. Further afield the Epirus region is heaving with interesting sites to visit - it just depends how many you can squeeze into your holiday. There is the area of Zagoria which hides 46 traditional villages surrounding the Vikos gorge and National Park, or the famous ruins of the ancient city of Kassiopi. Corfu Town will take a whole day to explore and for a day trip with a sailing theme head to Paxos, easily accessible - just hop on a boat.
