Hotel Maistrali

As one of the few hotels in the region to remain open all year, the Maistrali exudes a very warm and homely atmosphere, and on cooler evenings in early or late season the prettily-furnished lounge with its open fireplace is a very cosy place in which to unwind. For most of the season, however, guests will prefer to relax in the comfy wicker chairs on the lovely shaded terrace, which enjoys fabulous views out to sea. In this attractive setting, the homemade cakes and freshly squeezed orange juice that form part of the hotel's wholesome breakfast taste even more delicious, and the terrace is equally appealing in the evenings, when you can watch the sun set over the Gulf of Pagasitikos while feasting on tasty home cooking. With just 12 rooms the Hotel Maistrali feels pleasantly intimate. The rooms themselves are comfortably furnished and prettily decorated, and each has an en suite shower room and a balcony with a view of the sea. In addition, all rooms are air-conditioned, thus ensuring a comfortable night's sleep even in the height of the season.

All the attractions of the quintessentially Greek seaside village of Afissos can easily be reached on foot from the Hotel Maistrali, situated on the edge of the village. The Maistrali is about three minutes' walk from the pretty village church and the lovely tree-shaded square, and just a few yards from the village's most attractive beach.
