Villa Margarita

Sitting in pin-drop peaceful woodlands, this beautiful villa is the tranquil antidote to everyday life. Rural and relaxing, it's high up in the gorgeous green hills surrounded by lush pine trees. Newly built, the Margarita is traditionally Greek – whitewashed with a terracotta-tiled roof. And to make the most of the awe-inspiring views here, there are plenty of terraces where you can sit and soak them all up.
The best spot is arguably from the private oval-shaped pool. Sunk into an attractive patio area, it's flanked by sun loungers and an al fresco dining table with canvas chairs. Perfect for when you want to fire up the barbecue. And imagine dining to those vistas. Not only can you see down over the valley of tree tops, but you can see Skopelos Town and harbour as well as the twinkling sapphire-blue seas.
Step inside the Margarita and you're greeted by a spacious open-plan living area that lets the light flood in. Restfully decorated in vanilla-creams and soft beige, it has pitched wooden ceilings, tiled floors and a mix of comfortable furnishing and traditional Greek pieces. There's also a dining area and roomy kitchen with a back door leading out to a terrace with a built-in barbecue. The bedrooms are equally comfortable. You'll find the twin on the ground floor and the double upstairs, which has a private balcony. Both have bathrooms, air-conditioning and look out on to the gorgeous scenery.
If you want to get out and about, why not set off on a hike though the glorious countryside? The sunburnt beaches of Limnonari and Agnondos are about an hour's walk down the hillside. Or of course, you can hop in the car and drive there in ten minutes. And a little further on is Skopelos Town with shops, restaurants and traditional tavernas. However you spend your time at this hidden hideaway, you'll feel like you're at the end of the line.
