Koralia Villa

Nestled on the Doreta hillside, these two villas stand side by side, staring out across the Ionian Sea. The two are very similar in layout and are built in a traditional Zakynthian style: the walls, stone; the floors, terracotta tiled; and the ceilings, wooden beamed. The furnishings are comfortable, solid and wooden in a traditional style, creating a homely and inviting atmosphere.

The terraced patio area enjoys magnificent panoramic views of the village of Vasilikos and across the water to Kefalonia and the mainland. Guests can relax on the wooden patio furniture, cooled by the Sea Breeze and shaded by vines, which have crept across the wooden beams of the pergola. To the side of each villa is a private pool sheltered by the hillside and surrounded by gardens filled with resplendent flowers and aromatic eucalyptus trees. After a refreshing dip in the freeform pool, wooden sunloungers have been provided for guests to relax on and dry off in the heat of the sun.

Guests can take a stroll through the surrounding olive groves to breathe in the beauty of the area, which is part of the National Marine Park responsible for the protection of Caretta Caretta, the loggerhead turtle for which the island is famous. Vasilikos Village, just a short drive away, has exquisite sandy beaches and traditional tavernas full of welcoming locals, as well as a riding school and scuba-diving centre for the more active holiday-maker. The setting and privacy of these two villas, coupled with the beauty and tranquillity of the island have produced a romantic retreat we are sure any guest will enjoy.
