Both Playa Blanca beach and Playa Dorada beach have Blue Flag status and a little further along the coast there are the Bounty-like shores of Papagayo which you can get to by sea taxi. Perfect for lazy days in the sun.
If you really want to live it up in style though, take a trip out to the neighbouring resort of Puerto Calero. Filled with gleaming yachts and motor boats, it's chic and fabulous – the perfect place to live out your millionaire fantasies.
