An introduction to Can Maestranca
Ca'n Maestranca is a supremely restored farmhouse, just a quick drive from the appealing village of Pollensa, with its laidback air and choice of cafes and restaurants.
The house itself sits in a lovely spot, 100 metres or so away from its nearest neighbour, with farmland and goat pasture surrounding it and views to the mountains to be savoured.
Large wooden doors open into the distinctive entrance hall with a cobblestone floor and an original olive press as its centrepiece.
The master double bedroom, with its en suite bathroom, shares the ground floor with a living-dining room that's full of character and a well equipped kitchen. The dining room is actually the original farmhouse kitchen and the farmhouse sink is still in use.
The remaining three bedrooms are on the floor above, along with a further living area with views out over the garden and swimming pool to the countryside beyond. The villa is traditionally furnished throughout with tiled floors and wooden beamed celings.
French doors lead out onto the partly-covered terrace, which is the place to enjoy your al fresco dining. There is also a separate covered barbecue area for you to practice your grilling technique! The lawns and gardens are well-maintained and enclose an inviting swimming pool.
