If you're looking to escape somewhere that's pin-drop peaceful, the Lucas is as good as it gets. Sitting at the end of a county lane, this rustic villa is far from the maddening tourist crowds. In fact, here - it's just you, the scenery and lashings of tranquillity. But that's not to say you're too far off the beaten track here. Hop in the car and in a few minutes you'll be in pretty Pollensa with its traditional shops and restaurants. And just a little further on is the lively seaside resorts of Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa.

Once you clap eyes on the Lucas though, it's tempting to stay put. With picturesque views looking over the mountains, it's got everything you need for a put-your-feet-up break. One place you're likely to dedicate a lot of your time to is the pool. Oblong in shape and with Roman steps, it's sunk into a manicured lawn that's planted with swishing trees and shrubs. Just a few steps away, there's a terrace with sun loungers and parasols. And there's also a covered terrace area with a dining table for al fresco meals.

Step through the doors of this stone-clad villa and you're greeted by a rustic, yet refined sight. Light, airy and spacious, it's charmingly traditional with red-ochre tiled flooring, authentic dark wood furniture and whitewashed walls. But that's not to say you won't find your home comforts here. There's a country-cosy lounge with a television and cream sink-into sofas. An elegant dining area that seats six. And the fully-equipped kitchen has all the mod cons such as a washing machine. Add to the mix three restful bedrooms, one of which is a double, and you've got one great getaway. So what are you waiting for?
