In all these roles the key responsibility is to drive sales, identify key customer behaviours, set shop-staffing models and look at new ways to increase turnover, and at the same time of ensuring all sales consultants are delivering a ‘wow’ service to every customer that walks through the door.

Our retail management team are responsible for the performance of our high street shops, and this position is where your management career at Thomson starts.
As well as maintaining the Thomson brand, our Assistant Managers lead by example by offering our every customer a ‘wow’ service no matter how small the enquiry. The role also involves assisting the Shop Manager in coaching front line sales consultants in customer service skills and sales techniques.

Our shop and store managers are responsible for the commercial performance of their own enterprise, whether it is a small high street shop or a large store in busy shopping mall.
The Cluster Manager role involves managing more than one shop and acting as a mentor to other shop and store managers in your area. Shops within their cluster which will have a turnover of less than £1.5m per shop up to max £10m and will be managed on a day to day basis by a Shop Managers - full accountability lies with the Retail Sales Manager.
